Police have released CCTV images following the theft of a guinea pig from Pets at Home in Waterlooville. A man allegedly concealed the animal in his clothing before leaving without paying on Friday 13 June.
Officers are seeking to identify a male suspect in connection with the incident at Wellington Retail Park. The theft occurred at approximately 3:00pm when the individual reportedly removed a guinea pig from its enclosure, hid it within his clothing, and departed the premises without making any attempt to purchase the animal.
Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary believes the person captured in the CCTV footage can assist with their enquiries. Police are appealing for the man himself to come forward, or for anyone who recognises him to make contact.
Authorities are also requesting information from anyone who witnessed the incident or noticed suspicious behaviour in the vicinity during that time period.
