Basingstoke police have secured a partial closure order for a Holland Road property following evidence of anti-social behaviour and drug-related activity presented to magistrates.
Basingstoke Magistrates Court granted the order on Friday, 11 July, after being presented with evidence of anti-social behaviour and drug-related activity at the Holland Road property.
The partial closure order means only those authorised by the court order will be permitted to enter or remain at the address for the next three months.
Anyone else entering or remaining at the property will be committing a criminal offence and faces arrest.
The order was secured through partnership work between Basingstoke Neighbourhood Policing Team officers, Basingstoke Priority Crime Team, Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council, and the relevant housing association.
PC Alex Laing from Basingstoke NPT said: “Our officers take all reports of anti-social behaviour and drug-related activity in the district extremely seriously.
“I hope this order shows that we will do all we can to stop anti-social behaviour and the enormous impact it creates.”
