Police are seeking witnesses following an assault in Chandlers Ford that left a man in his 40s with minor injuries after being attacked by an unknown assailant on Falkland Road.
Hampshire Constabulary has launched an investigation into the assault in Chandlers Ford, which occurred on Thursday, 13 November between 6:35pm and 6:45pm.
The victim was walking along Falkland Road when an unknown male approached and assaulted him, kicking and punching him repeatedly.​

Detectives have released a description of the suspect in connection with the assault in Chandlers Ford:
- White male
- Aged between 20 and 30 years
- Irish accent
- Height approximately 5ft 10in to 6ft
- Slim build
- Unshaven
- Dressed entirely in black or dark clothing, including a hooded jumper, baseball cap, and jogging bottoms
- Carried a single-strap bag
- Holding a mobile phone and a drink can
Investigators are particularly keen to trace a van driver who briefly stopped at the scene during the incident. Officers believe this individual may possess crucial information that could assist with the investigation.​
