Southsea Splashpool will be closed to the general public from Thursday 21 August to Sunday 24 August due to Victorious Festival taking place. However, festival ticket holders can access the facility Friday to Sunday. The splashpool reopens Monday 25 August.
The temporary closure affects the popular family attraction on Southsea Common during the bank holiday weekend whilst the music festival takes place on the seafront.
Festival-goers with valid tickets will have exclusive access to the water feature from Friday through Sunday, whilst the general public will need to wait until Monday morning for normal service to resume.
The Victorious Festival runs annually on Southsea Common and requires temporary restrictions on some public facilities during the event weekend.
Alternative splash facilities remain available at Canoe Lake and Hilsea Lido for families seeking water play options during the closure period.
