Firefighters rescued a man stuck in mud near the Totton bypass on 13 November morning. Emergency crews responded to reports of a man trapped up to his knees in mud shortly after 11am.
Fire crews from Redbridge, St Mary’s, Fareham and Cosham attended the incident. Specialist water and mud rescue teams deployed equipment to reach the trapped man.
The casualty was successfully freed and handed over to South Central Ambulance Service (SCAS) paramedics for treatment of minor injuries. The incident concluded at 12:29pm.
